West Berlin, NJ - Many devoted pet owners are forced to make the tough decision of relinquishing a cherished pet due to financial problems.
A food giveaway and a free vaccine clinic will be held on Sunday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Animal Wellness Center in West Berlin, 151 Walker Ave.
The Camden County Pet Food Pantry and the Animal Alliance of Camden County's five animal welfare organizations (Camden County Animal Shelter, Voorhees Animal Orphanage, Animal Welfare Association, and Animal Adoption Center) organized the event with the goal of keeping pets with their families by providing nutritional assistance.
The following will also be offered:
- $10 microchips
- $25 for Bravecto flea and tick medication.
Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a carrier.
Other nutritional assistance events in the area include
- Food pantry on Saturday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Rd.
- Food Pantry on Saturday, March 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees.
- Food Pantry on Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Rd.
