$1 Million Waterford and Winslow Township road rehabilitation project begins

Atco Avenue in Waterford and Winslow Townships will see the start of a one million dollar road rehabilitation project later this summer. Along with road repaving, this comprehensive infrastructure project will also improve rainwater drainage and concrete curbs.

During work hours, Atco Avenue will be closed from the White Horse Pike to Hayes Mill Road. A traffic control plan will be established between local and county officials prior to the start of construction.

Camden County has an extensive schedule of road projects set for this year. These repair projects are as follows:

• Wyoming Avenue from Kings Highway to Nicholson Road in Audubon
• Berlin Road in Gibbsboro to Route 30 in Lindenwold.
• Jackson Road from Hopewell to Tremont Avenue in Waterford Township
• Old Black Horse Pike from Black Horse Pike to Chews Landing in Gloucester Township.
• Section of Erial Road from Cross Keys to Williamstown roads in Winslow Township.
• Jackson Road from the White Horse Pike to Route 73 in Berlin Township.
• Lafayette Avenue from Route 561 to Route 73 in Voorhees.
• West Fleming Pike from Route 73 to the Gloucester County Line in Winslow Township.
• Haddon Avenue from Walker to Zulker Avenues in Berlin
• Berlin Road from Gibbsboro Road to Linden Avenue in Lindenwold.
• Blenheim Erial Road from East Church Street to Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township.
• Greentree Road from Route 70 to the Burlington County Line in Cherry Hill.
• Coles Mill Road in Haddonfield/Haddon Township.
• Chew Road from Pestletown Road to Atlantic Avenue in Waterford Township.
• Atco Avenue from Hayes Mill Road to Route 30 in Waterford Township.
• Park Avenue from Cuthbert Road to Collings Avenue in Collingswood.
• Park Avenue in Merchantville.
• Bettlewood Avenue from Oaklawn to Collings Avenue in Collingswood.
• Route 561 at White Horse Road in Voorhees.
• Intersection of Route 561, Evesham Road, and Somerdale Road in Cherry Hill and Voorhees.
• From Chew Landing Road to Blackwood Clementon Road in Gloucester Township.
• Intersection of Erial, Gibbsboro, and Berlin in Clementon.
• Westfield Avenue from 27th to 42nd streets in Camden City.
• E. Browning Road from Maple Avenue to South Park Drive in Collingswood.
• Sicklerville Road from Hickstown Road to Gloucester County Line in Gloucester Township.
• East Fleming Pike from Route 73 to Route 30 in Winslow.
• Franklin Avenue from Egg Harbor Road to Route 561 in Berlin.
