BERLIN, NJ — Berlin Borough recorded 2 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, pushing its cumulative total to 511 since the start of the pandemic.
The Borough also recorded 0 new deaths after recording 4 new cases and 0 deaths the day prior.
“While we are in a much better place than we were a few months ago, we must remain vigilant in order to ensure that COVID-19 does not spike again in our community,” said County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.
The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 102 additional confirmed cases of the novel virus. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed positive cases to 39,682 in Camden County today and 1,068 overall fatalities.
Trace investigations are being facilitated with the patients and remain ongoing.
"Even with vaccinations underway, this pandemic still has the potential to do incredible damage in the coming weeks and months," Cappelli, Jr said. "Now is not the time to stop wearing masks or crowd into small, indoor spaces. Now is the time to double down and beat this virus once and for all.”
Gloucester Township recorded the most COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, Mar. 3 with 19. Pennsauken recorded the second most with 13.
